Tiger Show
Did you know that "Tiger Show" that is so famous in Thailand came from the word "Thai Girl's Show"? Ehem... Let me rephrase, its spelled as THAI GIRL SHOW. Even though you cannot be 100% sure of the"girl" part, you can be sure that it is and absolutely a "show". If you know what I mean. LOL.
Anyway, I had a privileged to be invited to attend Dr Azizan Osman's Titanium Summit 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand last week. Some would ask, who the hell is Azizan Osman? Man.. if you don't know him, you'll be missing a lot. Let me introduce him for you. If you're already knew him, you can skip the next part. In fact, just stop reading :)
Azizan Osman came into my life after my wife invited me to attend one of his talk in March 2017. Who is he? To many, he's a motivator. To me, he's a life coach. He's my turning point. He's my someone to turn to. To me, he's my Guru.
Life changing experience.
Clear life direction.
These phrase does not do justice to what I've experienced during my first year of coaching with him. It was an AMAZING and EMOTIONAL journey for my wife and I. I was happy that Allah show him to me. I was happy that this is the answer that I got for my du'a in Makkah last 2 years.
TITANIUM SUMMIT BANGKOK 2018
Dr Azizan Osman (DAO) coaches a group of entrepreneur who has a dream of becoming a successful businessman & businesswoman. I remembered that I've always wanted to be a businessman when I was small. Those days, the only reason of why I want to become a businessman is so that I can be rich. Lots of businessman that I saw is rich. So I want to be part of them. I want to fly on an airplane in their First Class. I want to own nice cars. I want to live in a big house. These were my definition of a successful man.
Man... I know so little about what it is like being a businessman those days.
DAO has this motivational course called IMKK. It stands for Intensif Magnet Kekayaan & Kejayaan. I HATE MOTIVATIONAL COURSE. I think it's for losers who are not strong enough to handle their own life. Well, that's what I said back in January 2017. Funny how things turnout. From hate in motivation to giving motivation to others. I've changed myself from that person to this person. This course is my turning point and realization on why do you need to become rich and what are the responsibilities of the rich.

In English, it simply means that the best of people are the people who give benefits to other people.
Simple, yet so meaningful. Here I realized that what I did and what I've been doing does not benefit others other than myself. I was selfish. All I can think is how I can be rich. Stupid Stupid ideology. DAO shared his experience of meeting one of the most successful billionaire businessman - Richard Branson.
To become a billionaire, you have to help a billion people.
That's what Richard Branson told him. To become a billionaire, you have to help a billion people. The term here is help. I repeat again, the term is HELP. Not benefited from a billion people but HELP. This is a mind blowing phrase for me as I never thought of it that way.
Looking back at myself, I don't help that many people in 2017 or years before. I do things mostly for myself and for my company.
Penang 2017. My first ever ICM with DAO. He told me one thing that is a life changer game for me. He told me something that has changed my life ever since. In ICM Penang 2017, DAO asked me that "Why don't you help you wife in her cosmetics business?" It looks like a questions but it really means an instruction from a coach. I was shocked when he told me that. I was having different ideas when I join his Titanium Circle. I wanted to do travelling business. I want to do loads of things. But he showed me a direction towards my wife's company. Do travelling business as a hobby and take the cosmetics business seriously. That's what he told me. Me? Doing cosmetics? That was the last thing in my mind. Tak gangster siot jual gincu.
Throughout lives, I've always imagine myself as a businessman that have business in stock markets, banking, insurance, construction or oil & gas industries. NEVER in my wildest dream that I want to be in cosmetics industry. NEVER EVER.
Coming back from Penang, my wife and I had a talk about restructuring our businesses. Currently at that time, I was in Construction and Insurance business. Getting the schedule in and learning about cosmetics... It was a mess. We fought a lot on how we should strategize the cosmetics business. I've disagree in a lot of things. We start pointing fingers. All the negative things that you can imagine when a business partner fights. Worst is when my wife is the Managing Director and I'm the new comer. At home, I'm the husband and she's the wife. IT'S BLOODY CONFUSING!! She almost fired me from the company. Believe me, she did.
Then, we settled down a bit when DAO & Jay share with us their experience as business partners. They argue a lot. They even have fights among them. But, all these argument and fights are for the sake of the company. It calms us down a little to know that this happen when both of the key-man of the company wants to give their best for the company. Alhamdulillah, that story sharing from DAO & Jay helps me for not getting fired by my wife. That would be an embarrassing moment if it happened.
Moving forward, in Nov 2017, we were blessed with our second baby boy. We were so happy to receive him. Such a beautiful gift from God. The best miracle of life. The sign of his Greatness and Mercy. Alhamdulillah.
When you believe that God create things for a reason and nothing happen without a reason, you'll believe how God's plan is the best planner.
During my wife's confinement period, I had a chance to handle her company on my own. I had a chance to call everybody in the company for a discussion, meeting and planning. She was a bit worry. Well, that's an understatement. She was DAMN worried when I handled the discussions and meetings. She would asked me to list down on everything that I want to say to her staff. She scan it first and say "don't tell them this, don't tell them that". "It's ok to share this but not that" sorts of thing. Man, she was worried out of her mind.
But then, within her 40 days of confinement period, I managed to create planning and execution alongside her staff. I managed to handled her staff, create some sales drive and fix the issues among the staff. From there, we got positive feedback from our customers and that really made her happy. That 40 days confinement period kinda give her confidence and trust towards me in running her company. Fuh... talking about trust. Laki sendiri pun susah dia nak percaya jaga company okay!
For those who didn't know, our cosmetics company, FCC, which stands for FARMASI COLOUR COSMETICS has been in Malaysia for quite awhile. 2018 is our 10th year anniversary. We're excited for this year as we have a lot of exciting plans for our FCC customers.

RESTORE YOUR CONFIDENCE
DAO Titanium Circle Program has helped me in seeing the clarity in our business. It gives us the confidence in growing our business to the next level. Our 1 year program with DAO ended in Bangkok. However, our plan is big for the future and I believe that DAO can help us in achieving our dreams. We'll continue our journey with DAO & Richworks and will bring the company to the next level. In align to the restoration of our confidence in growing the business, we have chosen a new hashtag for our FCC for 2018 as Restore Your Confidence. As much as our confidence is restored, we want out customer to restore their confidence as well.
